After a sky-walk up to 25 meters in the forest, visitors will be able to race against each other downhill. This approximately 280 m long sky-walk is designed using SCIA Engineer. Tides used SCIA Engineer in order to understand all aspects of the structure. Design meets engineering and we also learned the behaviour resulting from different load cases. The Eurocode and specifications from TUV were used. With SCIA Engineer, we were also able to determine the different frequencies inherent to the structure. It was possible to predict and increase the comfort of this sky-walk to another level.
