Navarchi Construções CONSTRUCTION PERIOD 07/2019 - 11/2019 This project of an industrial building was designed using structural steel members and reinforced concrete. The building ceiling height is 6.75 m. Since SCIA Engineer is a multi-material analysis and design software for steel, reinforced concrete, wood, etc., I took the great advantage of having a single model with all elements and their interaction, obtaining more realistic results and better behaviour understanding. Other noteworthy factors are the processing speed for non-linear analysis, element property modifiers, elements that work only in tension or compression, and extremely easy CAD modelling functionalities integrated into the CAE environment. I am now using SCIA Engineer more and more for simple projects, and not only on the complex ones I was doing before, gaining the advantage of having the results in a clear graphical view. The benefits are exceeding my expectations.
