88 ARCHITECT n/a OWNER DAE GENERAL CONTRACTOR n/a CONSTRUCTION PERIOD 01/2018 - 01/2020 The project is located in the State of São Paulo. The tank dimensions are 20 x 20 x 5 m. This treated water boiler made of reinforced concrete is under construction and the works should be completed in early 2020. The project is a standard project of the DAE (Department of Water and Sewage of São Paulo). The structure modelling was done in SCIA Engineer using its features for modelling bars and plates. Design was done using verification by NBR-6118. In addition, the project was carried out using the BIM workflow. SCIA Engineer helped reduce project design time and, especially, carry out an accurate and fast modelling and sizing of reinforced concrete elements.
