The total construction concerns four roofs and a tower. Considering the design of the roofs it was very important that the deformation would be kept as small as possible. The façade between the roofs was foreseen in glass, so stress would lead directly to damage. This made it an interesting project. To have a clear look at construction a 3D model had been made (exported from Autocad to EPW, this worked perfectly). The reaction forces in the arc-shaped structures, depending on wind and snow and other variable loads, were calculated.
