The bridge is hung to a new building by four straight cables, suspended to two very esthetical portal frames and supported by a few short piles. Two hinges situated at the bend and at the extremity (straight cable side) allow longitudinal dilatation whilst withstanding horizontal loads. Spine Bridge at Merck Serono Plant Vevey, Switzerland
