The goods for this silo are granular and fibrous cements with a computational density of 18 kN/m3. As a special feature it has to be mentioned that the silo, besides the central discharge hopper also has an additional eccentric emptying installation. The new principles as provide by the Eurocode (EN 1991-4 and EN 1993-4-1) were used; more specifically for the structural design of steel silos.
