Besides the hiring out, the assembly and disassembly of the scaffolds, the assignment consisted in the design of a gigantic floored scaffold for works on the enormous glass dome, this combined with lateral scaffolds, each of 2 m of height, for the masonry work at the sidewalls as well as in delivering the support structures for the heavy steel frames of the glass dome. To shorten the execution time was chosen to use the stross’ method, which is building in two directions at the same time, both upwards and downwards.
