This project is an extension of the initial construction. It is characterized by its entrances on different levels (+/- 5 m) and by its pillar-beam structure. The addition of two new floors under the roof will replace the “fake roof” that had been imposed at the time by the town planning service. This new living areas imply a light structure that will be supported entirely by the existing pillars. With a 3D model in Scia Engineer, it was easy to study the direct influence of these changes on the structure. The advantage of the integrated calculation report that is automatically updated was also appreciated.
