Steel The building showroom is designed in steel. Steel was the obvious choice considering we had to design a round facade. The difficult aspect of this project was the development of the showroom. The request was to design a structure with no wind bracing visible in the facades. This meant we had to transfer the forces to the concrete structure through the showroom roof. There are also a number of trusses concealed in the facade. These are all incorporated into the structure so also no longer visible. Concrete structure The workplace and a part of the offices are designed in concrete. This was sufficient to adhere to the necessary fire-resistance requirements made by the fire service.
