152 The pool house, located in the wider Munich area (Germany), is a small-scale structure constructed with structural CLT panels. The roof, supported by columns along the glass facade, consists of three CLT panels. The team’s task involved designing the CLT roof slab and vertical walls. The deformation limits imposed by the glass facade necessitated an accurate modelling of CLT orthotropy. Due to the unique support system and nonstandard aspects of the project, traditional CLT calculations were impractical. To overcome this, they developed a custom script using SCIA Design Forms. The script enables verification of internal forces, including buckling, in all sections, accommodating any shape or form of CLT panels. By accurately modelling the orthotropic material properties of CLT, the team obtains precise deformations and account for creep. This approach provides reliable and comprehensive unit verification and generates visual outputs suitable for an Engineering Report. Thescript incorporates the Czech and German National Annexes of EC EN 1995. ARCHITECT Carmen Duplantier, Architektin ADE OWNER Dr. P.
