As mentioned earlier, the integration of buildings with various apartment sizes and floor plans resulted in challenges for direct load transfer to the foundation. Consequently, numerous intermediate bracings, such as wall-integrated ribs, were necessary. The behavior of the structure is significantly influenced by the different materials (concrete, masonry) and component thicknesses. Traditional calculation methods commonly used in multi-storey construction were insufficient to address these complexities adequately. The ability of the software to perform nonlinear calculations for masonry, which does not withstand tensile forces, proved to be highly beneficial. The basement walls and elastic bedded floor slabs were constructed as watertight units (WU) and were also included in the comprehensive integrated model.
