64 The Lotus Prime is a commercial building designed to accommodate various facilities such as rooms, offices, and parking lots. Its construction encompasses two underground levels made of reinforced concrete and three above-ground levels, including the ground floor, 1st floor, and terrace, constructed using a combination of steel and concrete structures. The architectural concept involves the arrangement of overlapping blocks between the ground floor and upper levels, creating a visually dynamic composition. Notably, the upper floor features striking cantilevers that extend nearly the entire perimeter, reaching dimensions of approximately 7.20 m. Achieving stability for these double cantilevers, with limited support and counterbalance conditions, posed the greatest challenge throughout the project. To enhance the aesthetic appeal, the decision was made to prominently showcase the metal structures, which are intentionally exposed throughout the building, even within interior spaces. This approach adds a distinct visual character to the Lotus Prime while showcasing the architectural integration of steel elements.
