61 Aluminium pedestrian bridge in Chambery The community CHAMBERY decided to build a bridge over the river “Leysse”, only for pedestrians and cyclists. The structure had to be as light as possible and the mountain river should blend in in a natural way. A structure with fundamental handrail timbering was put into action. The rise as well as the inclination of the bridge deck should not exceed an inclination of 4 percent. In order to keep to the bending slenderness, a fish stomach form was chosen for the major works. ESA-Prima Win was used for: rod slice sizes, knot strengths, distortions, natural frequency of the bridge, dimensioning of the structure with theory II. Order. Short Description
