Description of STEEL STRUCTURE
The steel structure consists of 4
main columns and 4
auxiliary columns, connected through
with horizontal
beams on levels of relevant platforms as well as with cross-
bracings.
Its purpose is to support secondary combustion chamber
(SCC) on platforms +12,345 a 28,920, and to carry service
platforms on elevations +4,000, +6,380, +9,450, +12, 555,
+15,150, +18,650, +21,850, +24,350, +28,920, +32,050 a
+33,750 m.
At the same time it bears live load on platforms
and forces caused by wind and snow.
